The long awaited day..for the whole school 2, family and friends of the NSmen...=) woke up at 9.30..get myself prepared n head dwn to meet adam's parents.. by 2 pm...we are already there...booking the best seats to view the whole parade... both the parents as well as the NSmen were all waiting patiently for whole event to start..us sitting comfortably at the grand stand...while them..hiding in the jungle..waiting to march out... the whole thing starts onli at 4pm.... wif the cues of the miltary band...the neatly arranged army men begin marching out... adam's company were the 1st of the 2nd row... DUE to the similar helms, tops n bottoms they had...we have no choice but to bring the binoculars there..LOL....n thus...WE SPOTTED ADAM!...hahaa..bz snapping photos of the whole parade... after the commander's inspection....the mens march out neatly..n minutes later...they ran back noisely....singing the songs tht they learn in there...BUT we couldn't hear a single bit..HAHA... ITS THE PARENTS TIME!.. parents ran dwn hurriedly...adam's father likewise...ran dwn without taking small steps...was so afraid tht he wud fall...haha.. N finalli about a few metres away...we saw a wide smile... wif the cap in his father's hand....he put on his cap for him....announcing that he was promoted from recruit to private!..LOL... n photo taking session......strong stench of their sweat......euik!.. after some photo taking...we head back to the grand stand....n waited for the next coming up event..the infantry roar....i didn't get to see the whole thing as i'm bz taking vids of adam..HAHA...its hilarious but he doesn't want me to post it up....sad...hee everything ended after the roar... i'm proud of him..to be able to complete the whole BMT...=)..completing the 24 click with the 10kg field pack and right after is the POP...i guess this is the greatest achievement in his life.. actually i'm more proud of the girls in his company...they are so tiny from the grand stand...n yet they are able to withstand the strenuous training n survive till now...ops claps for all the NSmens and ladies...!!!... photo sharing time! didn't reali edit it nicely....haha...got share betta den dun have rite...=)          ytd met up wif some of my poly frenz...those also had their pop on tues or wed..haha...the meeting sessions is mainly on sharing of their tekong life experience..haa finalli BMT training is over...so hope that he will be posted to those 9-5 unit...hehe.. cyaz!.. |
