ain't working tomorrow as..for the first time of the year...i fell sick...guess it's due to the rain on sat...=(..
and i tink i seriously need some rest before school starts..which is yup.. tomorrow..(those who reads my tweets will know about it) looks like it's not a good start to commence school with sickness..=(

currently...i'm feeling more of nervous than excitement..don't really dare to work out what emotions i'm having....so afraid it might not be what i expected..eTc etc....

updates on work

so far..i'm getting the hang of it...i believe those mistakes that i'm constantly being reprimanded on are corrected...( i guess)..however i have a difficulty...which is to convey what i wanna say to those above.LOL...everytime i finish a sentence..i will tell myself..i bet they don't understand me..LOL...and they really do...hmmm..guess i should work on it..

one of officers left us...( i guess such activities will be common)hmmm...gradually all will be leaving one by one...including my mentor...hmmm..guess i should learn how not to rely on them but myself...like when i noe either one of them(my mentors i mean) are not working..i will feel very uneasy..LOL.....

another thing..superstitious..

not that i wanna be puang dang while at work..but seriously..when 1 unhappy event occurs..in the morning..it will happen throughout the day...Zzzzz..that's when i will start to pray time flies fast please!!!!..

we had training last week..many were unhappy in their own branches...i have no comments for some..but after hearing many other comments...i have some thoughts for one..

i bet she must be having a hard time when people can't take it lightly for the other issues that makes up the behaviour...this is not set by us...and we just join the company not knowing about the scheme and unfairness thing....hope she can cope well..=)

nothing is perfect..

one very motto that i learnt..is to take ownership..

shall not elaborate on that...but yea..i think that lets me lead my life at work easier...=)

i read some horoscope...that states april and may will be a busy month for me and looks like it really are...

Work ain't as smooth sailing as i thought...

As a customer service officer.. We have to face all sorts of customer...and the motto for us staying in this industry is to..

not take it to heart..

but sometimes it's really tough not to do so...
so far...i had faced nasty customers...yea..and i have overcome it...there are nice customers too..
lil stuffs they do..really brightened up my day..=)

To me..i would rather face nasty customers everyday...to know that there will be people backing you up..

but when it comes both ways...you really don't know where to stand and who are your allies..

I really hate the attitude of my co colleagues or should say those people that are above my level..
but i don't blame them...as our jobs are interlinked to each other..so as i'm the first hierarchy in the tree...i'm not supposed to make any mistake...if not..people at the top will get stuck..yea yea yea...

but one thing is..they don't admit their mistake..and they will somehow or rather blamed it on you...if that's my mistake..i will admit..but why push the blame?

i have a character..when things happen..be it my fault or not...i love to explain...and this makes situation worse..so when i'm reprimanded of that mistake..i will try to explain but then again..another thought goes through my mind...whats the point of explaining? it will still be your fault..so i just let it be..

i seriously wonder...in a long run...how am i going to survive in such environment...to swallow everything though it's not your fault..and to swallow every single knowledge i learnt everyday so as not to be scolded being taught so another day...

i really missed the honeymoon period..

if i can't survive in this environment..i doubt i will be able to survive in any other environment..
but what can i do to feel better each day?

worrying is at the top of my list...worried of this..and worried of that..
but i can't seems to find the flame in me...

i just feel like giving up but still holding on to something...

it's something invisible..

We had a practical test today and I'm so disappointed with my own performance..on the event when the mistake is
Made....I felt so stress totalli.. I didn't make any mistake at all during training period
And I know what's the problem...

My attitude... I shouldn't have take things for granted..to think that they will help us
I always give my 99% effort. In this line, nothing is 99%...everything has to be accurate
And I simply hate my attitude for that..I kept rely on others and not myself

Actually in my own life I didn't do things that are 100% effort and thus the break down
Today...I felt terrible my character

Ask me...what I'm good at...I can't tell...as I'm not sure what I'm good at
Ask me..what I know...I can say..I know a lot of things...but master of none..

This is my first time...crying over mistakes..and the failure of understanding

got alot of feelings right now..LOL...so gonna blog it!..i gonna compile it and print out in the future..wahahaha...my tweets as well.. trying to be crazy..

listening to xiao zhu's song right now...and i think most ppl knows that the only guy idol that i really admire or like is luo zhi xiang..but guess what? i nv really downloaded his whole album..LOL...and i don't really think his acting skills is good..waHAHAHa

actually i more of admire his character...=) humorous..=))) love guys that have flair for it..

PLUS the most important thing..he knows how to play piano!

btw..

that particular day...i'm having tea break with adam and his parents..and i'm seriously not sure why we are always talking about me learning to cook la...buying HDB Flat...(must buy 5 rooms instead of 4, or 3) etc..LOL...den we will go back for dinner and all...and what our kids gonna learn in the future! omg..

i really don't know why suddenly..the topics evolve till this stage?..i don't dare to say anything of course..like what's my opinion and all...

like during dinner...his mum will say..next time adam will become like his dad...pui pui ba ba one..den adam will say...won't la..wife also don't know how to cook...den all the hinting etc.. will start..LOL...

i will definitely continue gobbling down my rice arbo give a huh huh huh smile..LOL...so stress nowadays when go his house to eat..faint..

and they are so afraid that adam will keep playing games till old..LOL...and his father will keep pressurizing him..not sure why they so worried...hmmm...guess they really been through alot

talking about what our kids gonna learn in the future..
and we are like saying if got daughter..den she gonna learn piano..then i'm like saying..boy also want learn..coz super shuai..LOL..next time got alot girls will like..wahahahahha..

but his mum like don't really think it's good..she thinks it's very gayish...LOL!...but aiya...ultimately..it's up to them..haha..

if they really like something..i believe they will persevere to the end...since i still hope to learn and get a piano one day...

must be supportive..

i have a colleague..that have a super supportive mother...my that colleague smokes..and believe it or not..his mum will buy the cigarettes for him...this is what i really think that mums are really wei da....regardless of what their child do..they still thinks that they are their flesh and blood..no matter what..

like when i'm on the rebellious age previously...ok la..till now..i'm still giving my mum attitude..but previously is worse..LOL..but still..the next day...they will speak to us no matter what..

every sunday..i will always complaint on the breakfast she buy...never once she will say " you go buy yourself la" but she will always say " then what you want to eat..i also don't know"..

wonder what my future will be like..

actually i wanna blog on my work contradictions..end up talking about all the random stuffs in my mind..haha

i'm actually thinking should i continue to pursue studies on banking and finance..since i'm already on the first stage of it..but still...my interest lies in colours and drawings..(though..my skills have to undergo much much training and practices)

1 is like already 2/10 stage...the other is 0/10..
i can't really decide and i don't want to waste more time...

if i gonna pursue B&F..i might get chance to get sponsored..
while..the other..i have to fork out the amount myself..

humans are like that...when there are nothing for them to think..they will always find things to ponder on...and get themselves in the complex complex algebraic equations..

and my trainer was talking about the haiti news..etc..people resort to burning humans alive etc...all this situations are too transparent that many people are immune to it..and thinks that they will definitely get help eventually..

like me..i didn't even bother to read up the news..not until my trainer tells us about it..till now..i don't even know the exact news of it..but..i feel like giving my helping hand..

can't really be there physically..but guess..money will help alot as well...

i actually wanted to purchase the sand dollar from fishville and buy the fish to help haiti..but not sure if the amount really goes to haiti people..hmmmmmm...

can anyone tell me? what other ways might be more direct?wahahaha...=)

can i say i hate old people? People aged 50 or probably 53 and above?

i seriously don't get their bloody mentality..which forced me to blog here..if not i gonna have internal bleeding..

FIRST OF ALL!

SUPEr tulan max that freakish old lady in the branch! WTF MAX...she is the oldest within the branch...and she act as if we should suck up to her butt to get a good appraisal from her...FKed up manz

first day of work..she keeps yabbing away..saying things like shortage of manpower and still send trainee staffs down..COME ON!...go find out and clear the air if i'm a trainee there or i will be perm there! WTF... ask those people don't teach us let us learn ourselves...

one of the colleagues help us by saying..don't teach they do wrong than lehx? you say again...( FEEL LIKE SCOLDING HER AT THAT TIME but i didn't of course)

2nd day..

which is today..WTF...says that i didn't use my common sense...and when 1 of the staff is teaching me on the items..she says..." aiya..of course don't get it de la..since when they get it"

seriously WTF WTF WTFFFFFFF......i bet her kids or grandchildren are genius uh?

maybe their babies in the stomach can straight away say ABCD...through their mum's throat...
can even run out of their mum's womb uh?

my uncle

prolly it's due to the unhappiness at work...and thus..when i've reached home and realised that the TV is still unfix...i felt really irritated...DAD was home in the morning for the whole day and yet no one bothers to buy the socket and all etc...and purposely wait till mum's home and dad's out..and uncle says that TV is spoilt..

mum gave him quite a lump of sum of money every month..but still...he can jolly well ask mum to pay for such stuffs? it's not the first time that he is asking my mum money for such trival stuffs and i really kind of pissed off

how many kids does he have? yes we are staying at his place..but why are we suppose to feed him..pay the electrical bills...clean up the entire house etc and still! pay him for monthly rental? and don't his kids give him allowance as well? where does his $$ goes too? he don't even need to spend a single bit!

not that we are not willing to pay..but he is taking advantage of us! and guess what is his favourite hobby? STOck...REAL LIVE MARKET STOCK...

he has burnt his fingers countless times and is still not afraid of it...how does he choose the stocks? YES newspaper and radio provides lots of information..but so? i believe 70% is based on intuition! which is never accurate..-____-... and once he burns his finger...he went to ask his son in law for money...great uh?

at the age of 70...still bothering people with money that doesn't concern medical bills...but his itch of calling to purchase the stocks..

he is so stubborn that he don't listen to anyone...so what can we say?

my mum...can't say hate her..since she is my mum...but i guess i can say i hate her character right?

first week of work

A detailed update on my 2nd full time job..=)))

tuesday morning is rather intense...

first of all..worried that i might be late..as i'm not sure if i should be there at 8.30 or 9...lol..but i still get out of the house kinda late..haha..squeeze in the MRT and finally alighted at Raffles place..in my mind i'm thinking..DAMN..so many people alight here..hate the morning rush..

the next obstacle to overcome is the lift..ZZZZz..so uber PS..i went into the lift..and hit the floor i should go..but the button just won't turn blue...i'm like.."omg..so ps..."

and i faster went out..and asked the guard...and thanks to her..she lead me to right lift...uber ps...

i'm finally at the office...and yea..to my surprise..a bunch of about 10 people are there already..and all the seats are occupied..stunned to the max.....no one is talking..except 2 ladies..
1 minute later..the familiar interviewer came to gather us..and now i know...they will be my so called "course mates"..we will be attending the training together..

everyone..looked around trying to find one to talk to..or waiting for someone to break the ice..LOL..but no one did..even when we reached the class.. and so..the kind interviewer..played ice breaking with us..we talked about hobbies and etc..all of us intro-ed ourselves..

it is then..the ice started to melt..

we started chatting laughing about..when the next task is thrown on us...and i'm glad that..there are people to undergo the training together...=)..we, 11 of us..had our lunch together and left the building together for the remaining 3 days..help each other out..(AS the lessons are going on quite fast due to the lack of time)..the trainer..is very friendly and humorous as well..which lighten the intensity of the lessons..

most of the stuffs taught are very new to most of us..and we are so fascinated to almost everything...even the sound of the printing machine...glad that we are enjoying everything at this phase ;)

on friday..we are deployed to different branches..to get hands- on experience...it's very near where i stay..but still! i'm almost late!...i took a cab in..and managed to reach there on time..

i made a super duper big blunder..LOL...i knocked on the glass door..and one of the staff looked at me..in a way as if she is asking me..what you want..and i realised that i didn't put on my pass..
then i quickly retrieved it..(supposingly..my pass should be on my lanyard..and i totally forget that i have removed it from my lanyard) and i show the staff my lanyard..

she gave me a super puzzled look..LOL..and i took a look again..and exclaimed to myself..LOL..and finally..after getting out my pass,she let me in...
people there ain't really that friendly at first..and there is one lady..who hates all trainee i guess..she keeps nagging away about the HQ..asking trainee to come down etc...complaining and all..i'm so innocent! why must she treat me that way!

and i get to realise that..most of them don't really like her...but still tolerate through..so i didn't do much..finally customers start flowing in..at a rate that i don't expect..as everyone is giving me negative comments on the branch...yea..because it's super outskirt..so i thought i might need an insect swap instead..

i'm attached to a mentor..to observe her every movement..LOL..so i'm following her every moment...until a stage whereby there are really too many people..i begin helping her out..like photocopying..checked the stuffs and all..and woohoo! day passed super fast...glad that the people there are good to me as well..not making my life difficult..except of the lady(she is the chief but not the biggest rank in the branch)

i'm going back to branch on monday..hopefully i don't need to squeeze on bus..ARGH..which is highly impossible as students starts school already...oh no!
and hope everything won't be chaotic!

A good experience learnt...and i'm kind of worried if i can make it...my mentor and another senior do things super fast and swift! i admire them totally..=)

Wednesday we will all be having a test..and we only have 2 tries..if we fail..off we go..so ARGHH...sibei jia lat.. adam's mum is like saying...school time have to study..work also have to study..LOL..which is quite true...

A whole new start

hohoho...Merry christmas and a happy new year! Decided to do up a blog post since...I'm waiting for my show to load...and I didn't blog since October...Bored right..everytime click on my blog but no updates...

I also sianz of clicking in to everyone's blog and no updates of their current doing and all! LOL..at least i still got twitter...tweeting live updates every minute! So people..please do update...
friend or foes..will still read your blog...Friends will want to know what you are doing..while foes..will want to know wat you are doing and gossip...extra steps included..;)

shall start my year resolution early..instead of blogging on 31st..LOL..i will blog now..if not (maybe an entry about my year resolution also don't have)

wait wait..I should start on...the summary of 2009...

Work

2009 marks the start of my full time job...It's my first full time job and suprisingly..I got it real fast and swift.. I love the jobscope and the environment! As..my co colleague is someone I knew already..Save up the time of ice breaking and all..and know that Cindy is not those bimbotic ladies and that I have to tolerate their character every minute..

We joined numerous events..the on going one shall be the aqua aerobics...which I wanted and ended up going for 1 lesson only ops..

I really enjoyed myself...

Things ain't that good when it's close to year end...so ya..i'm out of job since the start of december..

I remembered the day when we left the place...It's all packed and we are notified on the day itself...we laughed at ourselves while packing up all thes stuffs and all.. as if we are still in our fairyland and this isn't real..

the feeling only got to me the next day...which is like..erm..what the heck..my first full time job and ops...not as smooth sailing as i thought it would be...

So i started planning on what I should do etc...
I started sending out resumes after i came back from taiwan...and another opportunity came knocking on my door..

It's another super fast ok done job..LOL..which means..I signed the contract on the day of the interview..

I kept asking myself..is this good? I asked my mum...she is blabbering away saying "of course la" I always pray for you etc...and lots more..but i cannot remember..

Good - as i don't need to worry on cash anymore and no time wasted..don't need to think aaa..if they accept me etc..

Bad - the requirement of the job is super low that anyone will be accepted..LOL..or that i got the job not based on my strength etc..hmmm

not sure what i'm thinking..but hopefully I like this new job...=)

a new year a new job and a new environment..hope everything would be smooth sailing this year..

Next up! All the overseas trip i went!

I'm so glad that I have been to numerous places this year

Genting, tioman, Bangkok, and Taiwan...

3 new places..all with different people in my life... I love spending times with them and i enjoyed myself totally...

As for taiwan...it might not be as adventurous as the rest..but still it's an eye-opening trip since i've not been to taiwan before..=)

hope to go more places next year..! or probably 1 place which is damn far away..WAHAHHA..
or requires more cash..=)

Blissful moment on november

the newly wed...both our good friends...may them be blissful and lovely always... and i really can't wait for their chubby cute baby to arrive ..=))

Savings

honestly, i didn't really have much savings except of the insurance i bought..LOL...so yea...i guess everyone will know what will be part of my next year resolution...=)...

of course no savings right, when i go for so many overseas trip and didn't plan ahead on my cash usage..everything is planned by per month basis which sucks big time..LOL..
whenever i tell anyone..."shit sia..no money liao" they will always tell me..you can borrow from me first..since i put in the bank interest also very low etc..LOL..
and my reaction is of course.." WHa lao, why you so rich? LOL.."

so i want to save so as to say this sentence to the next person who tells me the sentence i say every year..LOL or every month

this is the 2nd year adam in camp..so sway that he has to book in but somehow it's good also..as i can do all the stuffs i wanted to..
there are a few stuffs that i regretted not doing when i graduated on year 2008..giving excuses such as..no time to accompany adam and all...and thanks.I wasted like about 1 year ..because of all this stupid excuses i gave..

so no more excuses for year 2010..

alright here comes my new year resolution or should i say only after i do it?LOL
not sure why...everytime when i say..i never do...arbo won't come..zzzz..and i will forget as well..ok la..I shall start a year without saying all the resolutions.. I will only say after doing it..=))

Workload ain't alot ever since we are back from BKK...We have lots of speculation on what is happening..
He will always tell us alot....normally...but..nowadays..he just says he is busy..hmmm..

We always complain about him..niaming at us pushing us to finish our work or he always chup 1 leg in..which annoys us a little...NOW..when he doesn't do all this stuffs..we felt kind of uncomfortable..LOL...

I agree in this term.." Women are hard to understand"..LOL..

I wanted to blog during the weekends...last week...(I have quite alot to blog about at that time) But I don't really have any now...

Maybe I should talk about my current activities

Korean lesson has ended this week..and we didn't go for the last lesson...I felt kind of uneasy..my studying cells came to a sudden stop...think we will continue for the intermediate course..

Before this lesson, we are suppose to do some homework and our lecturer will check our homework to see how much we have progressed.. She came up to me.and found out that I've been using the normalised words(HYPY) instead of the korean words..(At that point of time, i assumed that most of them are using normalised words as well)..

To my surprise, they all used the korean words...

Lecturer said: you paid so much, yet you have only learnt half the stuffs I taught.

I look at her...and realised that....I didn't even put in any effort in learning this course.. I thought that I'm okay...since i'm able to read the words (without understanding yet) which is not too bad for beginners..I thought.. but i'm so wrong...

Everything starts with I thought, and I thought....and this awakes me from my dream...
I didn't put in effort in doing anything in my life.. Seriously.. I can't think of any..
Most are by luck...

We will be having a break..before proceeding to intermediate. I guess..in the mean time I will do some self studying......

Aqua Aerobics

Since korean lesson has come to an end.. We have taken up another Aerobics course..Which is aqua aerobics..LOL

We don't really know what wil be taught in the lessons.. and based on our imaginations..We joined the course without hesitation..

I imagined that we will be taught stuffs like ballet in the pool..or more of creating movements(dancing) in the pool..LOL..watched too much drama.LOL..

So it's still normal exercising/toning movements...using the noodle float for this week.. I think it's less intensive to those on land..

Have not went for swiming for ages..and I really enjoyed swiming especially when the weather is so damn hot this few days...ARGH...and of course..my exercise buddy...Cindy!...LOL..without her..i don't think i'm able to try out so many forms of exercise..=DD

Bangkok Trip!!~

Decide to use this pic as....our breakfast and lunch is always pathetic! Although we seriously bought alot to pamper ourselves..=P...

This will be a full detailed report of our stay at BKK...skip to "Overall" if you find it lengthy...=)

Day 1...(Thursday)

We went to work as usual for the first half of the day and we proceed to the airport at about 1..We went to have Popeye at Term 2...Love it to max...Cindy's friends came to see her off..I'm actually quite shock when she told me beforehand..LOL..ok..her friends are rather funny..LOL..

we proceed to budget terminal and checked in...I checked everything except of my contact lens solution which is supposed to be a traveling kit...To my surprise..I'm stopped to have a full check on my bag...=.=... it's 120ML..I'm like so shocked...I ended up purchasing another bottle within the terminal..

We were quite excited as we can see the planes up close..=)..This is my first time taking plane from budget terminal and the interior looks super like a haunted hospital..=.=...I think it would be scarier at night.. We board the plane with a external ladder..Looks super like personal jet..=P

Having mixed feeling at the moment..AS..Seriously..I don't even dare to think that it's only the both of us going and 2 ladies only somemore..Afraid that will be cheated as expected by many people...Somemore..It's Cindy's first time..so kind of stress..LOL...Didn't hold on to that thought for long..After we arrived..

First obstacle..We can't find the exit..that's super hilarious..we had to ask someone where is the exit to get out of check-in area..LOL...is not that we can't read signs or follow people..Is everyone is waiting for their baggages..while we are the first few to walk out..

Next obstacle..We can't find our cab driver..or the hotel transfer guy..I didn't even print out the e-mail they sent..Panic somehow..We asked someone from the airport to help call our hotel to verify again..Lucky..We manage to find our name displayed eventually..That dumb guy stood at an area which is so not obvious..LOL

So finally..Our hotel transfer arrives..SUPER COOLL..its toyota CAMRY!..Just imagine.. so luxurious etc..LOL..

Hotel..Receptionist etc are super good..Saw a few people there that are half transformed..Somehow..i find them adorable..LOL..as they are super gentle and man at the same time..gentle + man = gentleman..ok lame... we are supposed to stay at the eight floor but! due to some error...We are transferred to the third floor..ARGH..the hotel room is kind of disappointing..As almost every single wall looks fake..and I can even hear the next room's phone ringing etc..-.-..But overall..its still okay...=/ ..

We left our backpack in the room and lock everything up and proceed to Suan Lom..Hotel receptionist are again super friendly..They told us the average cab fare so that we can bargain it appropriately, we proceed on to our first stop of night market~

The stuffs doesn't fascinate us initially..But after we proceed further..everything seems to wow us more! Just feel like buying everything..But some are set at a super costly price..=(...We only went back to hotel around 1 plus...and we didn't have our dinner at all!~ we ordered the room service as requested by Cindy..LOL..the food are okay...~~..that's the end of our first day..
We somehow planned for the activities for the next day and went to bed...

Dreamless night~Love it

Day 2(Friday)

Woke up quite early... prep ourselves up and we went down to siam square..we took the free van service to siam discovery and walked to siam square..Cindy kept complain hungry and we can't find any food restaurant or stalls that sells proper meal..so we ended up having roadside stalls..
We had the sweet potato..The person is so good that she let us try the food first and it's great!..We bought 1 packet and share..She even gave us more..how good..it cost less than 1 buck i think..LOL.. we bought pepsi crushed ice as we didn't get a drink..and that's when I fall in love with it!It's so so so different from the normal ice drink we had in SG!I love it alot!!~~...Enjoyed it totally...

We went to walked around and surprisingly..Most of the stores in the building are the same..~ I remembered the slippers shop, the tee-shop and the mani/pedi shop..I went back to the same place to purchase all the items and we did mani and pedi at the same shop i went previously..~ the standard this time round isn't that good althought my manicurist is a guy[i seriously doubt his skills initially..LOL]... We shouldn't do it so soon..as it's damaged...We went shopping immediately and didn't wait for it to dry completely...=)..We had our lunch at Noodle House and it's yummy!~...

It started to drizzle close to evening time...We decide to proceed to MBK to walk around..We had our Full thai massage..and it's a cool experience~..I only had foot massage previously..We are bend all over and kept giving that super painful expression...The "ah ma" super strong manz!!~~...she elbowed almost every part of my body..I even have blue black on my thigh the next day...=.=..LOL..enjoyed it totally..

We bought clothes to wear before hand so that we can dress up when we go for the buffet session..We shopped til about 6 and decide to head back hotel to doll up ourselves...Unexpectedly... We couldn't hail a cab back!~~~ We walked around..from MBK to Siam paragon...and we decided to have our dinner at paragon and go for the buffect session the next day...We had ramen...which is so not thai food...and its ultra COSTLY!

After dinner..The rain didn't stop at all..=.=.We then again..decid to walk towards the direction of our hotel and see if we can hail a cab or tuk tuk mid way...It's a super long journey..We stopped to buy some naraya stuffs and continued walking.. you all must be thinking..how do we know where is our hotel? Our hotel is the sister of the prominent tallest Baiyoke Sky hotel..We just walk towards that direction..It's dark, windy, dirty, drizzling and scary..LOL...we continued to walk nevertheless..

We gave up at the 7/8 of the journey and paid the tuk tuk driver twice the amount to drive us back..LOL...by the time we reached hotel...it stopped raining...we left our stash in our room and we head out to buy the big bag ..We ended up buying all sorts of road side food and it's super yummy! We spot a very special delicacies of theirs... BBQ eggs with the shell..they said "power"..so i believe it's something got to do with guys..LOL..the uncle somehow or rather chase after cindy..pestering her to wear the straw head and take picture with the egg..everything is in slow motion and it's super hilarious..So we persuaded the uncle to put on the hat and we took a picture of him..Super duper funny..

We went in 7-11 to source for maggie mees as Cindy wanted to buy back some..we ended up getting beer as it's looks plain boring to eat the foods without any drinks=) We went back hotel after buying all the food..Bathe and all and set up the food..We on TV listening to the top 20 English songs hits..We are knocked out after it reaches the #1 hit..LOL

Day 3(Saturday)

I got stomach cramp mid night cause I think i'm too sleepy and bladder is exploding and didn't want to go to the washroom..LOL..I can't even turn..and I think partly it's due to the super gassy beer..LOL..and finally managed to get up and went to pee and back to sleep..Snooze all the way to 10am SG time..=)..

We head down to chatuchak by cab..=) this is where we met the super nice cab driver..okay la..we are nice to him too..We went to the place he requested(he can get extra gasoline) and he is ultra funny with his macdonald smile..LOL...We end up having a deal with him to go floating market the next day..We bargained crazily...LOL

Chatuchak have super nice things and we had the nicest food there! Squid Eggs, the cream puffs..OMG!...I love the squid eggs to max..We walked around..stuffing clothes at almost every stalls..what bothers us is that the person don't even flinched abit even when we keep asking for discount..We gave in anway..LOL..since it's already so cheap..i think we are quite bad too...LOL...

We met a malaysian selling bags there too! So kind of him to give us more discounts..We kept saying we are neighbours..waHAHAHA...country neighbours also counted..It's quite heartwarming to know people who knows how to speak chinese...=)...We are ultra tired about evening time and we went back to hotel just in time for our buffet dinner...

We took pictures of our stash and started dolling ourselves up..With fake lashes, make up, revealing clothes(sort of)..LOL and heels! Everything from BKK..[not make up]...Super fun~..This time round we met a neat and tidy BKK lift guy..he speak to us quite alot..and he is super helpful..talk to us alot etc..wahahaha...we start to believe that dolling up will definitely increase "tao hua yun"...LOL..

Even the waitress talk to me alot when we are having our dinner..=.=..kind of feeling irritated..wahaha..We have the super perfect dinner and the absolute stunning view..LOve it to max...it's our candle light dinner wo..=P...

After dinner, we head up to the live band pub to chill...Ordered cocktail which tasted okay...but not for cindy..hers tasted like medicine..=)..Listened to the no so good live band and chatted till 1 plus..Enjoyed to the max..=))...It's also kind of funny when our make up starts to oxidize and lashes drooping..etc..waHAHAHa...so we went back about 1 plus 2..

We pester the hotel receptionist to give us more allowance on our check out time as our flight is on Monday and we have no where to bathe or wash up ourselves...they only extend it to 2pm..=.=..LOL

Slept like pig throughout..=)

Day 4 (Sunday)

We woke up quite early to pack our stuffs and to meet the cab driver..our initial plan is to head down floating market...We decide to give it a miss as we haven't buy package food so we decide to go for a food shopping spree instead..It's so obvious that our cab driver looks kind of upset as he cannot earn the amount..After much bargaining.. we went to 2 other stops so that he can claim his gasoline and he drove us around to search for food.. btw..before setting off.. a bird shitted and almost tio his head...What the~~...don't know it's good or bad for him/us...lol

He brought us to this market area..and the food there is costly..is it because that their prices went up or so??-.=...We went back to search for him and request to go another place...He brought us to king power..[duty free]which is even expensive..LOL..and finally..We landed at Big C...

Since it's a mega mall..and we are kind of afraid that we can't find him..So we decided to ask him to tag along...LOL..he's so good that he helped us push the trollies while we went all around the place to search for the food we wanted..Can't stop laughing when we spotted him sampling all the food..LOL...he is super hilarious..We kept asking him which is nice and all..Somehow..it's great to have a guy to tag along to help carry stuffs and all..=)...He did another funny act..he went to sign up for the discount card using our receipt and stuffs..LOL...can't stand him...

He drove us back to hotel and since we thought that he is a good guy..We gave him half of the requested amount..he looks disappointed at that point..should have realised it that he will cheat on us..LOL...we went up to pack our stuffs again and check-out...we left our baggages at the hotel lobby and set out to platinum mall..

We walked through platunam market..it's ultra squeezy..hot and the stuffs ain't fascinating at all!...We reached platinum mall after 15 mins...We had our lunch at KFC...I had zinger meal and spicy drumlet..while cindy had chicken meat with rice and spicy drumlet...Didn't know that the drumlet is so spicy that I had 2 bites and I couldn't take it..Cindy had 2 pieces..and couldn't take it as well...she is good at eating spiciness!..I ended up gobbling all ices...and removed the skin of the drumlet and ate the meat..=.=...

We shop around and our legs sored madly around 6 plus..we decided to go for foot massage and it's super relieving...at about 7...almost all stores are closed...that's way too early!!~~~...When we decided to go back...it rains again...drizzling at first..we walked around to search for food again but to no avail..climbed up the over head bridge to spot one..but again..to no avail but the nearest hotel.. after reaching the hotel...its started to pour...the only food the hotel have is the dim sum restaurant which is quite costly...we decided to have cakes which is at half price but they don't offer forks..SO GOOD Of them!!~..LOL..we gave it a miss and decided to wait at the front porch for the rain to stop..LOL

We ate the bread I bought earlier on...lucky I have that!~....when the rain is not that heavy..we went back to platinum mall to ask for tuk tuk..LOL..before that there are so many tuk tuk drivers asking for passengers..we didn't want to hop on..and after...we both agreed that we super dumb...LOL..got tuk tuk don't want take..walked around and kenna drenched kinda then happy.LOL..

went back to baiyoke sky...had our dinner there...the managers started laughing at us..I didn't even realise it..LOL...they are so mean~~...they laughed at our ultra big bag..lol...we bought alot of things what..we had the sumptous dinner..and chatted to waste time...we have too much time to spare..LOL...after..we asked for bill...the guy came over to pass the bill slip to cindy..and he accidentally kicked cindy's bag..and he gave the super apologetic face and apologized..I burst out laughing madly..LOL..it's super hilarious..it's not as if he kicked on a branded bag or so..super can't help laughing....after we left..he even say..hope to see you all again..I can't stop laughing..=DDD

We went back to hotel...to put our stuffs and took out some bathing stuffs and went back to sky...we went for their sauna services! Cool right..after sauna can bathe..wahahaha..that's our plan of washing up for the day..=P...It's totally relaxing but having breathing difficulties...about 1 SG time..we went back to hotel to wait for our cab driver...we requested him to come at 2...we slept at the couch from 1-2pm..and we waitied at the sofa from 2- 2.30 and we decided to give him a call...He switched off his phone~~~ so disapointed...we are like waiting for the long lost BF to come..LOL...and without further thoughts..we asked the receptionist to call a cab for us and we head over to the airport...

Day 5 (Monday)

We reached airport at about 3am and our flight is at 9.20am, we are suppose to be there at 7.20am..Super wrong move we made..LOL...as I thought we are able to check in and sleep inside.. so we found 5 connected seats and we bunked there..There are quite a few people bunking at the airport as well... We started packing our stuffs neatly..Arranged it according to check in items and non check in items...We completed packing at 4 pm we make ourselves comfortable and slept..Regretted not bringing jacket along and we are super duper cold..I changed to a 3/4 wear and long pants but STILL..super duper cold.. Btw..we brushed our teeth there as well..As if it's the hotel..=)

We slept til 6am..and I realised that it's ultra noisy..With all the trollies moving all around and voices of individuals... I woke up and found out that the airport is bustling with people..And no other people are sleeping on the seats already! I woke Cindy up..She is soundly asleep lol...and we proceed to immigration area?...to see if we could check in our items.. Our flight is delayed and thus...we can't check in at all..We found seats nearby and we slept there again..of course not occupying the whole 5 seats..=(...

At about 7.45am, the people finally came and we checked in our stuffs....We ended up checking in our 2 large baggages which is a must..and the weight exceeded..we paid another 30 plus bucks and we head in to check in area..

I was stopped once again as I forget to throw away the water bottle that I had with me..Which is exceed the limit..=.=.... Time wasted.. we went to walked around and we settled at BK to have our breakfast.. Love the burger!

We are suppose to board the plane at 9.20am, and we ate till 9.15am. We strolled there didn't even realise that our plane is about to take off.=.=.....When we are nearing.. the air stewardess asked us if we are boarding TR 103 and we nodded..She threatened us that we have only 1 minute and we ran all the way to our boarding area.. We are panting heavily while on the plane and they announced that there are 5 more passengers that yet to board the plane..Morning exercise indeed...

The plane we took love to move at slow speed...and we felt asleep while the plane is still moving on land at BKK..LOL..Can't even take pictures as we are totally exhausted..Cindy did manage to snap a few pics before slippinh into lala land... We slept throughout the flight..I didn't wake up abit..LOL...

We only reached SG at about 11 plus..My phone went dead before landing and Cindy is answering phone calls non-stop..LOL...Cindy bought some wine and beers..didn't get any as we don't have anyone who drinks at home..while we are heading the exit, we are stopped and our baggage or once again checked by the custom..This time round, we are directed to declare our items..Kind of worried..

As this is my first flight that was stopped so many god knows times..=.=..LOL..

An officer came out..asked numerous question..Checked our baggages once again and asked how much we spent...I told her..it's about 500-700...and she nodded and informed us that..anything above 300SGD, will charged for GST... Our souls almost left our body..LOL...Go for holiday also need to pay GST..WT~~~...

We continuously mentioned that it's for personal use.LOL..and she let us off and request that we should inform our fellow friends that we will charge for taxes..=.=...Speechless..

Cabbed home after~~ (home sweet home)
I went home, bathe, ate and unpacked all the food and went to bed at 3pm... I woke up at 9pm..LOL..still in concussion mode..Glad that boss gave us another half day off and we skipped aerobics..I think i will fall asleep while exercising...LOL..

Overall:

I enjoyed this trip to the max..Did stuffs that I didn't expect to do in a foreign land...=) BKK people are really friendly..Bargaining became an enjoyable process though sometimes it's really fustrating when they don't budge at all..=D...Met some really chio people and I love bargaining with them..WAHHAa...It's not as dangerous as many said..As long as you are careful enough I think it should be okay..=))...I think we ain't really that careful as well..Holding on to such a big bag while moving around certainly attracts lots of attention..LOL..

A very eventful trip..=)) Lovess~~

BKK trip tomorrow!

Will be heading to BKK tomorrow.. Having the usual queasy feel that I always have.. Not sure why I will feel that way..

Did some planning etc..but it doesn't seems sufficient..For example the exact location etc..As we don't have a map now and it's hard to plan which to go first and where are the various places..Hopefully everything turns out fine..=X..

This will be my first trip to go overseas with a female friend only! lucky she is someone that is not those "niu niu nie nie" person..which is a good point to add.BUT..her GPS system seems to be faulty or probably not working at all..and therefore..I will be the tour guide!

This is my first trip bringing more cash and I believe we will be having a crazy shopping spree..=))
Felt rather excited now..BUT still!..gonna keep myself composed..Don't wish to have high expectations...as it always turn out otherwise..

Good for Cindy to have people to see her off at the airport..I think it's kind of awkward for me..And I realised that we are at Budget terminal..NNNN..I doubt there are anything for us to shop once we checked in!OH NO...

Some crazy stuffs that we planned to do and might be doing..

- Having our dinner at a super posh, high class restuarant..[baiyoke sky hotel].. it's 88 level and hope we can capture great scenery shots up there..=)) [keep our fingers cross that the meal won't cost us 1k over..LOL]

- Bunking at the airport..since our flight is earrlllyyy in the morning...we decided to save up on our hotel fees and stay overnight at the airport..LOL...hope we can find a good spot for us to rest..;) [ 99% happening]

- Once touch down, will be heading to office and aerobics after..LOL..another crazy move..I believe both of us will crazily nap in the office..

This is my first time updating before going and hope it will be as planned..=))

Now awaiting for the movies conversion to be done and i'm heading to bed..eyes half closed..

Actually I'm kind of worried for the work that gonna pile up on Doris Shoulder..She has to do both our job when she know nuts about it..Hopefully she can manage well ;)

I have started to make full use of my Bubble camera yet again! Previous images were exposed as I accidentally unlatched the clip..=/..so hope this time round all images will be perfectly well taken..We were all saying..is there any anti shake function?Like will the image come out blur?..LOL...so..keep my fingers cross again..[i think they are all entangled up];)

Work Life

And yes! I'm back! after a long break from blogger.. Have switched to tweeting for this times..=)..I tweet regularly and it's updated to the minute details of my life.. I almost wanna tweet of what I ate for lunch...LOL..as i gonna keep track of my spending... At least I felt more secured that I still have cash left..I don't wish to have bread for lunch or dinners..=)

Alright...some updates of the regular routines I have..and is completing soon..

Firstly... Korean course...
We were quite enthusiastic on having the lesson at first..Of course we are still attending the classes and still pays attention to the lecturer...But somehow..there are a part of us..that dreads to go..The lessons are interesting and the lecturer is fun and entertaining..We learn loads of korea cultures and they are definitely expressive..LOl...

One major downside of the lessons is....it's 2 1/2 hour... At first.. we thought that it's good! we get to learn plenty of stuffs in 1 day..but after...
We begin counting down..looking at the time every now and then....
For the current lessons..it's a graph that resembles a mountain.. It will always go up to the peak and go down..and thus..when it's the end of the lesson..we always felt relieved and not having the attitude of "A lesson learnt"..

They should stop at our peak..which is...1 1/2 hour..
We have a 2 weeks break starting from this week to next..And yup..might be a good time to rest on reassess our knowledge..am still wondering should I go for the intermediate level..to at least gain more knowledge and make full use of it...shall see how then..

Next up! Aerobics..

The lessons are certainly enjoying.. We always look forward to go for the aerobics classes..Though there are some people whom I simply can't take my eyes of them...Ultra distracting..LOL..Initially we thought that aerobics are more for like working adults 30-40 but all the people who joined are not those that I expect...I guess I will continue the lessons and be the regular..

After starting aerobics..we didn't go for gym sessions that regularly..I'm proud of myself..as I'm able to clock 2.63km non stop on the treadmill....Previously..I will walk..run walk and run..At least I'm better now..=)..That's my previous records so hope my stamina won't deteriorate that fast..

having this work allows me to do stuffs that I don't expect to do if I'm at other companies..However, every individual work has different woes/cons.. I'm working here for close to half a year..and has faced numerous challenges and obstacles..be it customers, colleagues or boss..everything is a challenge..

It makes me understand plenty of stuffs and realised that nothing will always go the way I wanted..It made me know myself better and found out that I'm a demanding person ever since i was born...
Why this job made me understand that? As after much observation, despite our different job scope , we all are the same type of person...with the same personality...Some might be soft spoken..some might be not..But we share the common characteristics..

This cause us to have some disagreement..unhappiness or close to major breakdown..but nevertheless..we will still accept each other opinion,give our comments directly and absorb what people says..

For projects I have done in school previously.. I always wanted to have it in my way as I always felt that my way is the best...but this time round...I didn't..surprisingly..I will still want it my way..But i will ask for suggestions and improve further..I don't stick to my logic as lock headed like before..

This is something that I felt had changed in me..and think that it's good...for me and the people around me..

I guess I'm worst during Secondary School days..and hey!All my Sec School friends endured it through without grumbling..=D..love you all..=)))

But please...don't think that I can be completely stubbornless..LOL..that's my trait and personality and I won't cut it off completely..=)

My motto for the moment: Endure and learn

Job has reached a stability in my life and I hope to have some changes...It's either study/free-lancing or...not sure yet..

Boss asked me previously: What do you want to major in your life? He gave me 3 seconds to answer him...

My answer: " I think if you give me 3 days, I don't think I can answer you that question yet"..

I think that's like 2 months ago or so..At least..I have narrowed down my majorities to 2 ..1 will be passion and the other one I will advance further on it..

I'm waiting to make the first step...and wish me luck

Next..Will be Yen and my trekking session on Last Sunday! We did not call it off despite the number of people going..=)
I'm glad to go for that session!We walked through 4 parks... Hort Park, kent ridge park, Clementi Wood park and West Coast Park. I believe we clock about 6km. Of all parks, I would definitely say I love hort park most! As there are aplenty of flowers and the scenery is good for morning exercise/jog..

Our last stop is West Coast Park and I really wanna fly kite! The feeling is indescribable when you see the kite flew that high up.till now..I have not once had a successful kite flying session..As in..my kite is always on the ground than on the sky..T.T...

Okay..Photos again!

After the morning walk, went homed to change and Sis and I went for the Da Vinci Exhibition..It's the last day and science centre is packed with people...We didn't walk away and it's my first time queuing despite the crowd..LOL...Get to know many of Da vinci's creation and ideas...he practically created everything..LOL...from arts to maths to warfare to....okay cannot really remember..Most of the stuffs reminds me of something that are greatly used till now..such as..helicopter?..the pulley system such as lifts? and his art pieces are greatly admired by most art personnel as well..okay..honestly...didn't know that Mona Lisa's portrait..is drawn by him as well..LOL...Even diver suits are also inspired by him..=.=...LOL..

Seriously can't think of anything that modern days scientist can create...except to improve...

okay..pictures again!LOL..

Watched "UP" with sister yesterday..I wanted to watch the 3D version..However, it's only up on cinema at town area...so we decided to watch the non 3D version at lot 1..the theater is seriously...dirty..popcorn littered on the floor can be packed into 1 container again...=.=..the people don't even clear the area before the next batch comes in..lucky that the area near our seats are still quite clean..

"Up" is a very touching movie..realised that such 3D animation movies always have hidden meanings and the animations are welly done...Hope that one day I can do such stuffs as well..But i'm not really into games animation..=P..Nice movie..

Nowadays..all my timings are slots with activities and events..LOL..cindy commented that she sees me more than her family members..and that's so true!LOL

We signed up for aerobics cross training on Monday and Korean Language course on Wednesday..Either Tuesday or Thursday we will have gym sessions..Packed uh? This week's korean lesson was canceled and I finally have the time to sit down in front of my own computer and do some light surfing..=) Listens to light jazz music..oldies..Relaxed totally...

It's good to stay home and relax once in a while..you will cherish every single minute..

Work kind of piled up recently...we are doing practically almost everything...such as maintenance of certain stuffs..photography..etc..
I always tell myself that even the smallest thing that I have not tried before is also something learnt and an experience gained..However, at certain point...probably my hormones ain't balance as well..I have the thought of finding something better elsewhere...

Having numerous thoughts and wondering is this the life I wanted to have for the next few years...This is my first full time job..and the same questions always pops up in my mind...

Wonder do the older generation have such thoughts as well? Or only the younger generations have this mentality..

It's just 2 days back from the trip and I super miss that Island! The people there, the sea and everything..I just can't get back to my life right now..

Nothing beats the companionship definitely..without all..I believe it won't be that enjoyable..

DAy 1..

We met up at BP interchange at 7am and we proceed on to SG custom and then to Malaysia custom...Stop by City square to change some ringgits and we cabbed down to Mersing..It's a 2 hours ride...Bumpy and jerky...nevertheless, we reached safe and sound..

Took the ferry down to Pulau Genting...and was taken aback by the clear blue sea..It's my first time..but yet, not mesmerized by the kampong style houses there..

15 minutes later, our resorts speedboat came to pick us up...Its my first time taking a speedboat again...Fast speedy and fun...loves!..Hope to be able to drive 1 one day..=)

People there are super friendly and fun..To my surprise, we are welcomed by a caucasian..she is the asst manager there...she get to know this job through internet..cool uh?

Climbed up the super steep stairs, manage to reach the highest villa, panting heavily...Its obvious that we didn't exercise for ages..

Viewed to whole villa, awed by the size of the beds and the restrooms..It's not very cosy-like but still..better than nothing..We arranged everything and prepared for the trip down to the sea!..

the weather wasn't really welcoming as it rains while we are preparing.This doesn't stop us from going outdoor.... drenched and soak midway..we reached the beach..all of us were complaining and shivering as it's real cold but yet Again..to our surprise, the sea is warm....Shiok..

We proceed on to the jetty and were super attracted to start jumping off the jetty...(we saw the people there doing all kinds of different stuns)..Tempted but yet afraid! I'm afraid of heights..

After some persuasive conversation and hesitation..kok meng, yu hui, chong tuck and I managed to leap off the jetty(3m difference: jetty -> sea)..What can I say? It's super fun..the moment is unbelievable.. I couldn't believe I will do it...

Again..it's my first time..loves..

About 7 plus..we went up to bathe and get ourselves ready for dinner..Food wise..it's not too bad...but i don't really have the appetite...not very sure why...

After dinner, we are invited to go back to jetty to view some livestocks within the sea...the part that attracts us are the baby sharks...they poured all unwanted food into the sea...and all fishes gathered....couldn't really see the sharks though..

Camped in the villa..with Jia pei...using her skills on us..Very very relaxing especially after a swim..Shiok..Gonna meet her every week...=DDD

All of us went to bed at 11 plus 12...

Day 2

woke up at 6 to catch the sun rise...Didn't manage to see as it was blocked by the forest and hills...however, the morning sea breeze is enough for the early wake up call..
Breakfast at 8am..slack a little while and the trekking trip to the waterfall begins..

I couldn't say that the trip there is easy...(Jungle trails)...but..it still post some difficulties..since all of us are wearing slippers! I'm serious..There isn't any serious injury except of some minor scratches, falls and mos bites..

our first stop...the beach...
The sea is much clearer as compared to the one we saw at our resort...Aplenty of dried corals being washed up to the bay...wanted to grab some home..but decided not to..

Chong tuck, jia pei and I managed to climb up the huge rock and took pictures with 1 of the twin peak... =))

We continued our trekking...

2nd stop over..at the malay village..bought bottled water to quench our thirst..since we didn't come prepared with it...our journey continues

The trip after the malay village was tiring..It's like a wave..we go up and down numerous times before we reached.. Glad that there is a guy among us who can check which way to go between..we clocked 3 hours....The sound of the waterfall..is simply irresistable...

We only get to spent about 45 minutes at the waterfall...as there isn't much time left..Afraid that we might not be able to reach before dark..and might miss out snorkeling..

Lucky for us to be able to catch a boat back to our resort..instead of walking back the same trail..=)..15 minutes later..we were off to the snorkeling destination..

Jia pei and I actually wanted to give it a miss..to be honest..we were kind of afraid of the fishes..After much persuasion..we ended up in the sea again...we saw many fishes...didn't regret the choice of going down...We saw sea urchins, stripey fishes, sting ray, sword fishes.. a few schools of fishes...Super cool...serious good experience gained..

We went back after 2 hours..and we were all starving madly...(lunch skipped)...Only biscuits and drinks were provided... Yu hui and I continued on for the swim at the jetty...didn't manage to jump at the highest height as the caucasians occupied the area..and we were actually kind of shy..=P...so after 7pm..we gave it a miss and went back to bathe..

We all changed to the sarong we bought at genting..I just used it as a shawl...Forgot to take a picture of us..=(..(only the females)..Had BBQ seafood for dinner...nice...=)

We went to the jetty again..and this time round the sharks were more obvious..there are 3 of them...Not only the sharks...the Sky was breathe taking too..tonnes and tonnes of stars littered the sky....

Pei hui n I chatted with the guy there...he filled us in with lots of information and his childhood experiences...We were all awed by his talent and self motivation..to study...and learn more things...he really made me guilty..I understand the meaning of "shen zai fu zhong bu zi fu"..

We chatted till 11 plus and we went back to the villa..we continued chatting..talking about our secondary school days...how has everyone changed etc...slept at 2pm.....

Day 3..

Woke up at 7 and get prepared..kind of emotional as we have to leave the place that fast...breakfast at 8.30 and we left the resort at 9 plus...everything was according to plan UNTIL...kok meng decided to play a prank on us..

He thought that he had left his Handphone in the villa...and decided to go back there to search...all this took 3 hours and another 1-2 hours waiting for the ferry..did i mention? His phone is actually in his bag...

Back at Mersing..we couldn't get a cab and we ended up hiring a van...this cost another 2 hours of our time..In the mean time..we played games..like naming the countries..sports...cartoon characters etc..we have forfeits and all..laughters filled the air and at 7pm...the driver arrived and we left the place...

it's only an hour trip down to johor..as the van driver is super skillful...had our dinner at city square...kenny rogers...

Homed by cab...Reached at 11pm..

I didn't put high hopes for this trip as I thought there isn't any stuffs we could do..but its so so so different from what I thought..

Till now..the feelings are still rooted deep in my heart..I want to be there again!..

Went fast walk just now..as i didn't bring my shoes to adam's place and he decided to go for a jog!..=.=...

I felt a lil fainty after the walk..

reasons being:

the sun
no lunch! - I had durians and mango + a kitkat for lunch!!!...n i totally forgot about it and went for fast walk...arghh

this week is busy!....days without cindy..LOL..
we took 1 hour to really update ourselves with the news at both sides...
SHE GONNA be GOD damn rich next month....abalones pleasE....=D

I'm so tempted to get a blackberry now..after reading XX's blog..haha...i always thought why do I need to have a BB when it's not really useful to me...but after much thought..

OMG OMG!

since I always rant about those unhappy stuffs that i encounter every now and then..

I should blog about something happy within this 2 days..=)

Although Cindy is not around..hahaha..
Office is still manageable...although...i'm the only one left who knows how to use the com..not including boss..lol

Wendy is of great help!
Honestly, she is a fast learner..you don't need to repeat umpteen times so that she will understand..she is very chirpy so that the room won't be so dead...and she is real nice!

She steamed sweet potato to work on Monday and she shared half with me..As i'm real busy..i don't really want to eat it (I'm lazy to peel the skin off too..haha)...so I just said it's okay...and I'm off in my work land..working and working..

the next moment..she passed me the half peeled sweet potato..OMG..So nice!!!
Of cox I ate it within seconds...since i'm hungry too...

Boss daddy is real nice too!Everyday he will bring durian for us to eat...as wendy have toothache...I'm the only one left that can eat it..I ate 1 whole durian every afternoon!Goodness..please...can somebody tell that durian is good for slimming...T.T...

he even packed durians for me to bring home...LOL...

Boss's mummy too..made agar agar and wheatgrass for us to drink..afraid that we will get heaty and fall ill..(I guess is boss reprimanded them for stuffing us with heaty stuff..LOL)

They are real real nice manz...going to office is really...good..but fattening..hahaha

Adam's 22nd birthday

Went vivo to celebrate adam's birthday..
It is just a simple eatout and photo snapping session..

up-coming is the photos we took!

After the photo session, we patronised Hillary inn for some desserts.
They provide tarot readings and aura readings too.
It's quite fun and I'm usually quite into such stuffs..and of cause I ask to try it out..

Can't really remember what she say..But it's still fun though..
You can ask for them to do the readings to help you decide on which food you should eat..

Quite innovative..
Went home and I slept all the way till 9 plus..
I don't really know why I'm so so so so tired..LOL

So this is how we celebrated..it's rather simple..Felt really guilty..probably next year will be better!We can go overseas to really enjoy and indulge!

Sometimes not all people that you meet can be treated the same way
Sometimes not all people that you face are truly themselves..
Sometimes not all people you hire are responsible and committed..

A lesson learnt..

The conventional method of hiring someone is definitely needed..

Does qualification really matters? Maybe yes, maybe no.However, it allows us to see what type of character and mentality they have.

What can we say?

- To open our eyes wide, and not let anyone step into our comfort zone that easily.

I'm not sure why I'm feeling so restless...

I couldn't say that the work is ultra busy and it's wearing off my energy..but i am really busy for this week that................:

- I can't play restaurant city
- I don't have the time to watch movie

- I don't have the time to check my mails...MY PERSONAL MAILS..lol
-I don't have the time to drink and pee and shit at regular hours
-I don't have the time to plan for adam's birthday..N CT as well...resulting in..NO time for one.=X
-I don't have the time to plan for the malaysia trip
-I don't have the time to check the amount transferred to me
-I don't have the time to sms
-I don't have the energy to go out shopping
-I don't have the energy to go facial
-I don't have the.

Can't think of what other stuffs that I am deprived of..LOL
All my time are dedicated to work and work..
When I'm home..I can't stop thinking what I have to do tomorrow..
I don't have enough memory space to remember what I should do and afraid that I will miss out one of it..

However, I still enjoy such life...i felt very useful and not wasting every single minute everyday..
The environment, the room the colleagues, and most imptly the BOSS..=) are very positive.Love this!

One of my colleagues fell ill on the 3rd day of work.. and was admitted to the hospital..we were like gosh....that's serious...Hope that she is well and doing good..

Today is my first day of work.....with the girls..
Office is renovated and shifted next door..it's really one door away..
And boss really put in great great great effort to make our little space (unlike the normal cubicle) and make the whole office looks super cozy cozy!

The new colleagues that joined me are

Cindy, Eileen and wendy(a mother)

Surprisingly we all really could get along well!I mean the 3 of us..haha..No awkwardness and we really had fun on the first day..time flies super fast..lol

Why do I keep mentioning it's my first day of work?

Last 2 months..I'm assigned to do other stuffs and now I'm transferred over...I love this job scope! + the environment...

Now, I have people to accompany me for lunch..that's a good thing!But I'm still used to eating in the office and watch some shows in the mean time...=)

I have already decided not to study for this year...however, I will take up short courses within this period..I think I would rather spend the money on stuffs that I'm interested then sticking to a course for 4 years and might not even excel..

I doubt I can survive to study econs throughout + the stressful environment.I'm not a type A personality..and I feel that I will suffer alot because of that..I might feel inferior..so I guess it's best to stick to the field that I'm comfortable with..

This is the step that I took with no regrets..

Next..for the stuff that bothers our whole family..I guess everyone don't really bear to let go..it's really a torture and we found ways to try solve the current situation..

Just hope that she don't behave too arrogant within this probation period..
How I wish I knows what she's thinking..At least we won't suffer that much in guilt and thoughts..

Intend to go Tampines 1 to shop around, my sis overshot and we were heading towards Changi Airport.Thus, we decided to change our plan to having a dinner by the sea.

Food wasn't that fabulous but the environment is really good.
Good for couples with car..=)

An unlucky day for me; not that bad though

- I almost slipped and fell again
- I mistook a chilli sauce(it looks like soy sauce) to a honey sauce and I ate it which results in lips and tongue numbness + tears

okay not as bad.

My sister is crazy over Restaurant City and she even use my account to get her ingredients.LOL.

My PSP is officially sold.Kinda miss him already.He's one of precious precious.=(

Thursday (30.04.09)

Both sis and I saw the promotion at Jurong Point on Sunday
Since it's only 10 bucks, so we thought of giving it a try (both of us are facing hair problems)
It's quite embarrassing when they ask what our problems are

But in actual fact, there are many people of our age visiting them to seek for consultations
Due to stress level, this is unavoidable.
Mine is due to hereditary.

we are entitled toa mystery gift & a hair care kit, however the mystery gift is out of stock and so they absorb the 10bucks! Great deal!

First process : Consultation

They go through step by step with us in details. This process includes a scanning of our hair pores.I wanted to take a photo of my hair condition but I decided not to, as mine is utterly disgusting!LOL

I scratched quite frequently (All thanks to the ginvera shampoo), and my scalp is bleeding.
I have flaky dead skins too which results to dandruff

Second Process: Treatment

It's just like the normal hair treatment procedure.

Conclusion

They are extremely pushy!Their door services are pretty good (the moment you step in).
however, I'm quite disappointed for the treatment process (foams are all around when shampooing & the herbs drips when they are applying it on our scalp).

After our treatment, they will do a scan again to show us the difference. Sis and I told them that it's too expensive and they tried to lower it to suit our capabilities.BUT, It's still super ex!

Just imagine for 1 session, its hundred over and they expect us to be back after 7-10 days..

I always have tonnes of things that I want to blog about everyday

I'm getting lazier!

Every Saturday..when I stepped into the office..I will clean the whole area..
Wipe the tables everything..To ensure that it's dust-free..

Last week..Lazy spells is all over me that I decided to give myself a day off...
I'm not sure if it's because of that reason..
I got sick this week..N I can see dust accumulating...

Goodness..ITS JUST 1 Freaking day...

I'm trying to keep myself motivated to post frequently...

And I feel like posting on a particular topic + my personal life..
I feel that I'm like an aimless soul..
The world is so huge that I am not sure where I should go, what I should do..

It's not really topic...Is like posting entries that is related to a particular field...
Of my interest..that I recently developed...

So..Now I have narrowed down my choices..hope it works..

Some changes for my work life..
Due to my laziness to walk down to get my lunch..N the uncertainty of what to eat everyday..
I ordered catering!
To be exact it's called Tingkat..
So everyday they will deliver my meal up to the door step..

A few things I like about it..

1.) Right up to door step
2.) Healthy food, although they claimed that a small amount of MSG is added..so far so good
3.)Different food everyday!
3.) Environmental Friendly

As it comes in metal tins..so all i need to do is to wash it up!
However, the rice is packed in styrofoam and in plastic bags..
I can still reuse the plastic bags..but I don't know what to do with the foam..as I dump the unwanted food with it..

I did thought of giving them a lunch box so they can put it in..
BUT..how do I dispose the remains without using plastic bags and not dirtying the whole place?

Wrap it with Newspaper??

Any better suggestions??

Bought some beads to decorate my camera..as the lens cap is detachable..so I need something to strap it on...Thanks to Xiaxue's idea..I did something myself ..Haha..she is really creative..Can't deny that..She got the same camera as mine..wonder what she will do with it..Anticipating..

Adam...couldn't resist the temptation of my camera...
so we head down to funan and thanks to the helpful people at John 3:16(funan)...he bought his DSLR..canon 450D...he can't wait for the 500D to be out..and I regretted getting my prosumer camera..Should have gotten a DSLR when it's just 300-400 bucks more for a DSLR..!It's ok..Shall save to get a better DSLR after I master the skills..=)..

It's not waste of money..It's our passion!
Shall think of ways to earn money with our cameras..Any ideas???

ok..aboout John 3:16..its the shop name..the people there are really helpful..You won't feel out of place even when their shop are packed with people..They will explain to you in details..allow you to try snapping around..they will also switch off the lights for you to try out the nightshots..Great people..Just a few hours in the shop and it's like we knew them for a long time...

If you all are thinking of getting your DSLR..might try going to that shop..there are other shops out there too..recommended by clubsnap but this shop gave me good impression...

Celebrated my 21st birthday yesterday as adam have duty on the 25th - 26th...

Fast & Furious 4

Watched it yesterday!It's really good..The effects, the story line, the cars, the women and the technology.Perfect!

I believe there will still be Fast & Furious 5...Hopefully more technologies will be thrown in...

There isn't any emphasis on the drifting part...but when they are in the tunnel..you can feel your adrenaline pumping..Afraid that they might crashed..(although you know they won't)..

I got a guts feeling that I'm suffering from some eating disorder.
I kept having difficulties on thinking of what to eat for lunch everyday.
I skipped lunch and eat biscuits.
I'm eating lesser for dinner

I kept having the feeling that the food I consumed are very saltish, bad for health & I might suffer from illnesses if I continue to eat those food everyday.

What I ate for this few months are food like chicken rice, char kway tieow, fish & chips, wanton mee.

It's like so unhealthy.

I went to do some research..

I know on binge eating and Anorexia.
I didn't know about selective eating disorder but I know I don't fall under that category..
That I saw this on wiki, Orthorexia Nervosa.

Explanation:

Orthorexia nervosa is a recently discovered disease previously thought to be Anorexia. This type of disorder is an obsession with eating only healthy types of foods.

I think I'm not very serious yet.

I still eat those food although I felt uncomfortable.I'm not very obsess with healthy food yet.

Sis and I went to walk around bugis..attempt to get some pumps..mine spoils on that day as well..lol..
However both of us didn't get any..
I eyed on one though...charles and keith..It's cute!
I will always hesitate when it comes to clothing, accessories, not bags..

There are always promotional booths at the concourse area and we chanced upon the spa retreat by body contours

The promotion is so tempting that we got it for the first trial..

There are 2 types of promos:

- $38 for any spa displayed
-$48 for facial treatments

We got both..as it's only for the first trial...(as in once your name is keyed into the system, you can't get the 2nd one off)So it's best to get both at the same time to try it out..

They have a couple suite for the spa..so for those couples who don't mind...well..ya don't mind..can opt for that...

Sistas As Well!...Sis and I chose the couple suite...so that we can do it together..

We made our appointment for the next day!

Tuesday night

We went to the City Hall outlet..We thought that it's within City Hall but it's not!
Was kind of pissed initially as they didn't tell us where is the exact location and how do we get there!

Its actually at 30 Hill Street..

Directions:

Sis and I did spa and mum did facial..

Let me brief you through on what they do for the SPA

they have:

- Massage (Depends on what you want; slimming, relaxing, or intense)

(It's like sauna; Breathing is difficult in that machine;Unlike the one 0f my previous house)

Environment: Not what we have expected for the couple suite so I will give them 67%
Masseuse skills: 75%(I chose medium strength so it's more like to reduce cellulite)

Overall: 78%

We signed up for the package!
it's good to share with your family members or friends, it's worth it..

The promotion at Bugis will end on this Sunday..So go try it out..I think it's worth a try!

Both of us spent over out budget and it's utterly unbelievable that we will buy it!

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3

I really love this camera alot!

Functions I like:

Sharpness,
wide angle,
Vintage look,
Semi-DSLR,
Able to set the Apperture and Shuttle speed,
Super macro(0cm),
able to add on lenses to enhance the pictures,
Lots of stuffs to tweak and play on

Functions I don't like:

2.5X zoom(many pro snapper said it's not a problem as zooming will always distort the pictures.However I love to zoom alot..=X),
HIGH noise rate at night when set ISO higher(Have to spend some $$ on the flash add-on...)

OVerall: I guess I still need to learn more about the A and S mode to further improve the night shots but I love the everybit of it!Goodness especially the sharpness.I think its way too sharp..LOL..shall do something to it..

I tried it on TV as well..LOL..they have songs to go along with the slideshow..That's very cool!Wonder if we can change the music..=X..(whenever you have something you will definitely ask for more)

I will add the pictures on flickr so that I don't need to reduce the size here.(It defeats the purpose of having a 10mp camera if you reduce)

10mp can develop an A3 size image or larger I guess.

He was actually asking me to find out more details on which MP3 to get and Apple product is always not in my list to research on.

Why?

Many Negative feedbacks such as cannot delete musics, difficulties to sync with Itunes, Itunes super troublesome..the worst,Its not plug and play and can only sync with Itunes..

However,

He and I couldn't resist it when we are at the Apple outlet and he really get it!That's totally unexpected.With someone like him, that throws temper on lil stuffs will buy a gadget that is not plug and play!

ok it's not as bad as I thought and its really easy! + you can add all the additional plugins(provide you jailbreak it)to maximise the use of your IPOD

You can play games like FIFA, cooking mama and Who got the biggest brain?..
Goodness..It really tempts me to buy!!!!ARGHHH...

I'm wondering if its me or? Suddenly I felt that I'm going down track on my work...
Stagnant I should say..

The first week its good..it seems I'm pretty useful
Second week too..as usual...A little praise here and there
3rd week....quiet but ok..
4th week..stagnant...

It's already 1 month of work! That's indeed fast! However, I 'm like pacing into a own world mode...
I'm pretty happy this way..however, I felt guilty...I want to take my initiative to do something that my boss didn't ask me to do but somehow the job that he gave me that is on going is pretty tough to finish it fast, chop chop.

saturday!

went to work and met adam on the afternoon..
he went to buy his com...spent a hefty amount..and it's seriously not his or my day..
It's raining..with quarrelled as usual..and the queue for taxi is super long and we have no choice but to take MRT back home with all the bulky stuffs..

his com is not up to his standard and have lots of problems arising..there goes the day we are able to spend together...

at last...a day for us..but we didn't go out just...slack at his place and enjoy the breezy day..
den after we went out for some saga seed picking session..LOL
its our first time...and to my surprise..the seeds are difficult to spot..!
for me but not for him...the ratio for our picking rates is 1:5...see how unproductive I am..

I find that the area he is staying is prone to lightning and thunder manz..
just a day...his place blacked out twice...this is scary manz..
i think i did mention that there's once that the power station is hit by lightning right?and the whole block went powerless...
I feel that my life is at stake when i'm at his place ..LOL

I have 5 folders of pictures lining up for me to edit and upload lol..but i don't have time to spare ever since i started work...goodness

shall post what i'm craving for but might not be able to accomplish it..

Went to suntec for our dinner...we went for chinese feast restaurant. A restaurant that has steamboat and its the heng's family fave despite the price...thanks to his dad for the sumptous meal...

I'm actually quite grateful that his dad is always bringing us out for good food and its always expensive..though an addition of me doesn't really cost much but i serious felt so PS +guilty and that always reminds to be "ying shui si yuan"..

Gosh..i can't believe it..sis and i was practically shopping throughout the week...
this is the woes for LAST MINUTE SHOPPING!....

I did get all the stuffs tt i wanted and i got even more!...goodnesss...INdulgence...this is real bad...
its worse shopping with my sis..as she would always say OK!...whenever the stuffs sounds interesting..NNNNNNNNN...she will always have lots of worries when getting a clothes!..arghh!..haha

today is rather a fruitful day!...was at adam's place till 2...n mum fetch me back home n we went out to get our jeans..got 1 each at my mum's expense...

I remembered complaining about her to someone unknown tt she doesn't get anything for me during chinese NEw year..HAHA..actually she does...lol...i'm really unfillial..haha...

den sis drove mum home to SET her hair..lol..n off we go to bugis...We were in the shop for 2 hrs..gEtting all those interesting stuffs..WAHAHa...which is all women's indulgence tht r kinda unnecessary..shall post up photos on wat we got...lol..some are realli ..WOW..its A MIRACLE!..lol..but not sure if its harmful to my skin..haha..

N lucky we get to share the cost...AS its a real heart pain..lol

HOme after!..wE had our steamboat..a combined one...as usually its onli our own family..

1 of them is...a vintage traditional coin ...bigger den a size of a head..with a bell in the middle..
so you have to throw the coin pass the middle to hit the bell..Not sure if u all can visualised..lol...

1st to go..is my dad...he hit it!...as usual...as his confidence lvl is unbeatable..haha..confidence is somehow quite useful in such areas..lol

2nd to go!..i didn't expect tt i wud hit it...wats more with a 10cent coin which is the lightest weight!..lol

3rd...my sis...she is a total embarrassment...she hit the flower..LOL...which is displayed at the sides of the coin..lol

4th..my mum..she hit the coin...still not too bad..aha

doesn't want my sis to be demoralised...so i asked mum to give my sis 1 more coin to try..hit the coin is betta den hitting nth right...TO our disappointment..LOL...the coin overshot..LOL..n we managed to find back the coin..lol..i couldn't stop laughing..N the 3rd try ..she hit the flower again!...she is realli a goner..LOL

Purpose: Supper + fire flies Sight seeing

Father came across about the fire flies sight seeing and asked sister if we wanna check it and so..
we went yesterday night..

the person in charge there were super friendly...and we saw 2 cute lil twin pups..They are so lovely and adorable!...we saw 3 different sized boat..and was relieved that we were given the medium sized boat...

we started our sight seeing at 10pm..n according to the P-I-C...she says that the best timing is between 7.30-8.30...and therefore...we didn't get to see alot of it...BUT still we manage to catch 1 of it..

description of how does it looks like:
its like those flies after the rain...with a lil small bulb at its butt..

its really beautiful...hope to go again...n hope that the next time i go...the whole area will be litted up!...

oh ya..description of how the place look like...

expected: a small narrow river..branches and trees at arm's length...n once u stretch your hand out..you can at least grab 1 or 2 fireflies....

turn out: a wide river....branches and trees at about 2-3 car's length...fireflies are hard to spot...but still able to see a portion of the tree litted up...

after sight seeing..we went for our supper..and their prawn is really good..

according to the P-I-C...people do prawning at the river...on sampans...tt's terrible!!!...lol

so home after...n we got home at 1am...

fun time...=)

watched 1 litre of tears...as reccommended by cindy...n i guess i did cry a half litre of tears...

every year...i would be so enthusiastic...to welcome the New year....the year with different obstacles...different events..different surprises that i've yet to know...different fustrations...different me....

this year...its quite unsimilar......

i didn't go to watch the fireworks..
i didn't join any countdown events
i didn't feel the excitement even i see the fireworks in real
i didn't count down with the celebrities on the tv...
i didn't really gave a warm welcome to 2009

its more like...stepping into a new world that i've yet to explore...

there are too many things that had happened in 2008....

with all the political events...natural disasters...etc...

my life totally screwed..
time not used wisely...
n i've forgotten my resolution totally...lol..but i guess its the usual ones that i've not attained..=(
there are so many things that i've not done and so many things that i've done that i regretted badly...

I felt lethargic...really tired...lost..
when can I really make up my mind..to know what is my next step..

i gave myself close to a year to think..
But no decisions made...
everything seems unattainable...
felt pretty uselesss...

Shall really do something this year.....i hoped..

this is wat i did during new year eve...on this very day..its my last day at work...distributed the gifts to all the colleagues who had made my life at ease while working..fun people...=)...everyone thought that i'm giving them because its new year..lol..

it was quite fun to go out with the kiddies..
N i finally get to step into CAsino!..was checked at my last entry N they said that they follow by birth date..*rolled eyes

I didn't get to gamble much...N i was super pissed...n fustrated...
its hard to curb my anger...its really tough
i think i really need to think about that too...

its my first time going with my brother n not my sister..N so we tried lotsa of stuffs

head dwn to work reluctantly yesterday..Lol...but the thought of the buffet line...the turkey..N log cakes realli perks me up..hohoho..

HAd hot cakes earli this morning..N caught madagascar 2...
its cute though..but i'm kinda sleepy..trying hard to keep myself awake!

bought a new pair of shoes..as my heels to work were worn out...LOL...as i've good walking skills...didn't get the usual colour..black...lol....hope that its not tt weird..

home after..
went for eye-brow threading with sis...
felt that its better than the bukit batok one..haha..as i guess they thought they are skilful and thus rougher...

how i wish i have my mum's eye-brow...as HERS don't grow at all!...lol...ok la..not as thin as hers..

I WANNA BUY CLOTHes!!...omg omg!

i've yet to send my phone for repair...argh..sianz...

A week of unpleasant event

this whole week was really tortorous for me...

Monday

well oh well..monday is still the daily routined for me...Nth special happened...

Tuesday

Got a sms from my sista...yea..as my phone is spoilt...n get to know that my mum was hospitalised...due to an accident happened in her work place..N at that point of time I thought its onli stitching N thus i went out for auditing..

N due to miscommunications...only till 5 that i rushed back N went off earlier...N took a train to SGH...

mum has to be warded in as she has to operate on her fingers for some skin grafting n meat transplant...we didn't get to see how serious it is...but since there is operation...there is still certain risks..

we got home at about 8 plus to bathe and change...get ourselves ready for a night in the hospital..n by 9.30...brother called to say that mum is going in to the operating theatre...
we rushed dwn..but didn't manage to see her in..

sat at the waiting area till about 3.30....half asleep....den we heard the tinkling sound n mum was pushed out to her room....half awaked we followed in...mum was still in a semi concious mode...

her 2 fingers and her forearm is bandaged...unwilling to move to change her clothes..

went back at 4 am..n came back at about 7 am...

wednesday

sis n i took a day 's leave...to accompany my mum...assist her...
due to the anesthesia ...she felt groggy and nauseous close to 1 day...

N btw..she chose the B1 ward...whereby air-con is provided...I guess the air-con is way way way too low...that sis n i can't tolerate..
mum too...
she kept complaining she is cold...

went back at 1..slept till 5 ..back to the hospital n we left at 10

Thursday

mum was discharged..i'm not there with her as i resumed work..
wanted to skip the company's dinner..bUt its quite troublesome n weird if they gonna have another dinner again just becoz i can't make it..and therefore...i'm there...

we had king satay..N it was fabulous!...1 negative part of it is the food isn't realli served hot ..oh ya and another 1 is there isn't any music...at all...i guess with music..probably the ambience might be better...

went home at about 9 plus..
mum is asleep by then..

Friday

went to work later..as i wanted to be wif mum longer...=)
on the way to work...saw 1 of my poly friend...felt that his way of talking n actions nnn his way of dressing up is a lil weird....lucky we went different way when at CCK...

after we alighted...we saw DA ZHU!...ahhhh!...long time no see...
N its so hilarious that he still called me XIao zhu...
i wonder if 10 years later will he still call me with that nickname..haha

its quite heartwarming though...=))
i won't feel right if he called me by my name...

hope that i can meet my polymates soon...

work is still ok today...just dun feel like working lol..

but something at work realli pissed mi off

4 of my baby mollies are dead....ok...this goes to show that i'm not the cut of rearing fishes...
felt quite sinful to have killed them indirectly...

N now den I know that actually money plants are not good for fishes..As they contain some poisonous substance or watsoever lol....not very sure what is it or watever ...ok...as long as its harmful to ur fishes...SO BEAR IN MIND...dun use money plant for fishys...its indirectly feeding them poison...
